Here’s an original mid-1980s Seymour Duncan STK-S2n Hot Stack Stratocaster neck/middle pickup in its Burgundy finish, featuring the early embossed “S” logo cover.

Made in the USA, this vintage stacked humbucker delivers a punchy, full-bodied Strat tone with higher output and hum-canceling performance.

The pickup is in very good vintage condition overall, with normal signs of age consistent with approximately 40 years of use. See photos. 

The original factory “2NS” label remains intact on the underside, identifying this as an early neck/middle Hot Stack.

Meter-tested at approximately 13KΩ in series, with each coil reading around 6.7KΩ, consistent with factory specifications. The original four-conductor lead remains attached with stripped ends, as pictured.
