Terms of service

Welcome to Cranston Guitars. By accessing this website or purchasing from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Boutique & Used Gear

Cranston Guitars specializes in boutique, used, vintage, and custom musical equipment. Due to the nature of used and vintage gear, minor cosmetic wear, finish checking, aging components, modifications, or imperfections may be present unless otherwise noted.

We make every effort to accurately describe all items and their condition.

Repairs, Setups & Modifications

All repair, setup, and modification work is performed with care and professional attention to detail. By leaving equipment with Cranston Guitars, you acknowledge that vintage and used electronics or components can fail unpredictably due to age, prior work, hidden defects, or normal wear.

Cranston Guitars is not responsible for pre-existing issues, aging components, shipping damage occurring before arrival, or failures unrelated to completed work.

Estimated turnaround times are not guaranteed.

Proper Instruments / Proper Pickguards / Proper Pickups

Proper Instruments, Proper Pickguards, and Proper Pickups products are boutique, hand-assembled products built in small batches. Minor cosmetic variations may naturally occur.

Loaded pickguards are designed primarily for Fender-style Stratocaster platforms. Due to production differences between manufacturers and model years, minor fitment adjustments or pilot holes may occasionally be required during installation.

Unless otherwise stated, warranties apply only to Proper-branded electronic components and workmanship. Third-party pickups or customer-supplied parts are not covered.

Orders & Availability

Pricing, specifications, availability, and product descriptions may change without notice. Cranston Guitars reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.

Shipping

All items are professionally packed and shipped with care. Cranston Guitars is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, or delivery issues caused by incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.

Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once shipment is accepted by the carrier.

Returns

Due to the nature of boutique electronics, used gear, custom wiring, and vintage equipment, all sales are generally considered final unless otherwise stated in writing.

If an item arrives damaged or significantly different from its description, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Limitation of Liability

Cranston Guitars shall not be held liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of products or services purchased through this website.
