Refund policy
Final-sale policy
Cranston Guitars carefully photographs, describes, inspects, and tests its products before sale. Because we sell used, vintage, boutique, modified, and custom musical equipment, all sales are final except for an item that arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from its description.
Damaged, defective, or misdescribed items
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from its description, contact Cranston Guitars within 48 hours of delivery through our contact form or by texting (401) 787-4202. Do not send an item back until Cranston Guitars has approved the return.
For an approved return, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for secure, trackable return shipping to Cranston Guitars. Cranston Guitars does not provide prepaid return labels and does not reimburse return-shipping charges. After the returned item is received and inspected, an approved full refund for the item will be issued to the original payment method.
Items that do not qualify
Buyer’s remorse, compatibility misunderstandings, installation mistakes, modification attempts, normal cosmetic wear, and preference-based returns do not qualify for return, exchange, or refund.
Proper-branded electronics warranty
Proper Pickguards, Proper Pickups, and Proper Passive electronics include a transferable lifetime warranty covering defects in workmanship or failure under normal use while Cranston Guitars and Proper Instruments remain actively operating. The customer is responsible for shipping the defective item to Cranston Guitars. Cranston Guitars is responsible for approved repair or replacement and return shipping.
We stand behind our work and treat customer concerns fairly, professionally, and honestly.
