Description
Here’s a vintage Aria chrome stopbar tailpiece, made in Japan and dating to the estimated 1970s–early 1980s, new old stock in its original Aria Guitar-Parts packaging.
The tailpiece remains unused and includes both original mounting posts. The chrome finish presents well, with minor signs of age and storage. Original packaging shows typical shelf wear, creasing, and discoloration consistent with its age. See photos.
A great period-correct replacement for a compatible vintage Japanese electric guitar or restoration project.
Likely compatible guitars:
Gibson: Les Paul, SG, ES-335, ES-339, Explorer, Flying V, and other stopbar-equipped models.
Epiphone: Les Paul, SG, Dot, Sheraton, and similar stopbar-equipped models.
Vintage Japanese guitars: Aria, Aria Pro II, Greco, Burny, Tokai, Ibanez, and other Les Paul/SG copies.
Custom builds: Most guitars designed for a conventional two-post stopbar.
