The McCready is our balanced A2/A4 Strat set built around feel, response, and making every pickup position useful.

It has plenty of warmth and body without losing clarity, and the bridge pickup stays strong and musical instead of getting weak or overly sharp. The set responds naturally to your playing and holds its own clean, pushed, at home, in the studio, or on stage.

Neck, middle, bridge, and both in-between positions feel like parts of the same set.

To help you get the most out of these pickups, every set includes a .033 paper-in-oil tone capacitor and a 220pF treble bleed capacitor for the volume control. This combination preserves clarity as you roll the volume down while allowing the tone control to interact naturally with the pickups for a wide and musical range of sounds.
