Description
Equipped with Proper Passive & “Froosh” Handwound Pickups.
All of my Proper Modified Fenders sell quickly. I’ll have more if you miss out.
Made in 1998 for the 1999 launch of Fender’s Classic Series line. Very good condition with only light signs of use throughout. No major cosmetic damage, dents, paint chips, or noticeable defects. Frets have approximately 80% life remaining at the lowest point. These came with vintage-style frets from the factory and still have plenty of life left.
This neck has the best authentically aged poly finish I’ve seen on a Mexican Strat. 10x better than anything Fender Mexico cranks out today. In 1998, Fender Mexico needed to deliver a product comparable to the Made in Japan reissues that were ramping down. The tuners are 10x better than the Vintera series and so is the neck profile and feel.
