Here’s a 1986 Squier Bullet E6 Stratocaster in Black with a Maple neck, made in Japan.
All electronics under the pickguard are completely original with untouched solder joints. This guitar left the factory with a high-quality CRL 5-way switch and full-sized pots.
The ceramic pickups sound fantastic—huge, balanced, articulate, and chimey. Easily some of the best ceramic Strat pickups I’ve played. Nothing like today’s. The neck feels like an old friend.
Overall condition is very good to excellent for its age with no structural issues and no major dings or dents—just honest wear consistent with normal use.
The original frets show light wear with at least 70% life remaining.
*The only non-original parts are the strap locks (installed and included) and a nice upgraded string tree. The original Fender/Gotoh tuners work perfectly. The guitar also includes the original backplate and screws.
Includes a very nice padded gig bag.

We don’t just love Strats—we adore them. Proper Instruments redefines the simplicity of Leo’s original design. Most Strats are muddy when the tone controls are below 7. Players just live with it—or add a treble bleed.
That’s child’s play.
Proper Passive is built to be usable from 0–10—you can’t get a bad sound, even at bedroom volumes. 0 starts your journey—JM/BB-style. 10 delivers full SRV bite and presence. Everything in between is there for the taking.
All with no batteries or useless blender controls, Ever.

Setup, overhaul, or full restoration—we’ve got you.
