We work on Fender, Squier, Gibson, Yamaha, Guild, Martin, Taylor, Reverend, Nash, Suhr, Epiphone, Firefly, and just about anything else that comes through the door. From simple restrings and setups to full rewires, fretwork, and tube amp service, the focus is always the same: make the instrument the best it can possibly be and inspire someone to keep playing it.
Cranston Guitars is also home to Proper Instruments, Proper Pickguards, Proper Pickups, and Proper Passive electronics — our in-house line developed through years of hands-on testing and an obsession with simplicity and pragmatism.
We specialize heavily in Stratocasters and vintage-inspired Fender-style instruments, with a focus on improving clarity, responsiveness, usable control sweeps, tuning stability, and overall feel while still preserving the character players love about their guitars in the first place.
